About TrustedLawyers.ae, trusted lawyers in UAE since 2021
Who We Are

This page explains who we are, how the UAE legal system shapes the way we work, the professional rules we are bound by, and what you can expect when you instruct us. If you are looking for trusted lawyers in UAE who will tell you honestly where you stand, you are in the right place.

Our Story: Five Years of Practice in the UAE

TrustedLawyers.ae was founded in 2021 with a practical goal: to make dependable legal help easier to find in a country whose legal system can feel unfamiliar, especially to the many residents who grew up under a different one. The UAE combines a civil law system in its onshore courts with English-language common law courts in two financial free zones, and onshore proceedings are conducted in Arabic. Knowing which forum applies, and how it works, is often the first thing a client needs from us.

Our five years in practice have coincided with one of the most active periods of legal reform in the country’s history. Each change affected real clients, and we have guided them through every one.

Our Mission

Our Mission and Values

Our mission is to give clients clear, honest and lawful advice, and then to pursue the outcome that genuinely serves their interests.

What guides every matter✦
Four values of trusted lawyers in UAE: candor, confidentiality, clarity, commitment

Sometimes that means going to court. Sometimes it means settling early. Occasionally it means advising a client not to litigate at all. Four commitments guide every matter we accept.

Honest advice✓

Candor

We give you a realistic view of your position from the first meeting, including the weaknesses in your case. An early, honest assessment saves time, money and stress, even when it is not the answer you hoped for.

Protected information◎

Confidentiality

What you share with us stays protected. UAE law prohibits lawyers from disclosing client secrets except in the narrow circumstances the law itself allows, and we treat that duty as the foundation of every client relationship.

Written terms↗

Clarity

Before work begins, you receive a written engagement letter setting out the scope of our work, how fees are calculated and what happens next. During the matter, we explain developments in plain English, not legal jargon.

Named lawyer+

Commitment

Every file has a named lawyer who is accountable for it from the first consultation to the final outcome. You will always know who is handling your case and how to reach them.

LICENSED
Regulated Profession

Licensed, Regulated and Accountable

The legal profession in the UAE is closely regulated, and that regulation exists to protect you. Choosing licensed lawyers in UAE means your adviser answers to the Ministry of Justice and to a published code of professional conduct.

Ministry of Justice Oversight
Laws regulating licensed lawyers in UAE, including Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2022
Rules We Answer ToFederal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2022, Cabinet Resolutions No. 8 and No. 9 of 2025, and Federal Decree-Law No. 10 of 2025.

The Rules We Practice Under

Our work is governed by Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2022 regulating the advocacy and legal consultancy professions, which came into force on 2 January 2023. Its Executive Regulations were issued by Cabinet Resolution No. 8 of 2025, and Cabinet Resolution No. 9 of 2025 approved the Code of Ethics that sets standards for confidentiality, conflicts of interest and professional conduct.

01

Who Can Appear in Court for You

Before the onshore UAE courts, representation is reserved for advocates registered on the Ministry of Justice roll of practicing lawyers. Legal consultants registered on the separate roll of legal consultants may advise on UAE and foreign law. The DIFC Courts and ADGM Courts maintain their own registers of practitioners who may appear before them. We will always tell you which member of our team is authorized to act for you in your chosen forum.

02

Confidentiality and Conflicts of Interest

Before we advise you, we check that we are not already acting for anyone on the other side of your matter. The Code of Ethics treats lawyers within the same firm as a single unit for this purpose, and where a conflict arises, we can only continue with the written consent the rules require. Everything you tell us is held in confidence.

03

Anti-Money Laundering Checks

Under Federal Decree-Law No. 10 of 2025 and its Executive Regulations in Cabinet Resolution No. 134 of 2025, lawyers must carry out client due diligence for certain types of work, including many property and company-related transactions. That is why we may ask for your Emirates ID or passport and, for businesses, ownership details before we begin.

Our Process

How We Work With You

Legal problems are stressful enough without uncertainty about the process. Every matter we take on follows the same clear path.

Six-step process followed by trusted lawyers in UAE
  1. 01

Enquiry. You tell us what happened and what you want to achieve. A short summary and your key documents are enough to start.

  2. 02

Conflict and identity checks. We confirm that we can act for you and complete the due diligence the law requires.

  3. 03

Case assessment. We review the facts, the documents and the applicable law, then explain your options, risks and likely costs.

  4. 04

Engagement letter. We confirm the scope of work, fee arrangement and next steps in writing before any chargeable work begins.

  5. 05

Action. We negotiate, draft, file and appear for you, keeping you informed at every stage.

  6. 06

Updates and close. You receive regular progress reports, and we close the file only once the matter is resolved and you have what you need.

Why Clients Choose Us

Why Clients Choose TrustedLawyers.ae

People searching for the best lawyers in UAE rarely need the largest firm. They need experienced lawyers in UAE who understand their problem, explain it clearly and act on it promptly. That is the service we have built over five years.

Why clients choose TrustedLawyers.ae as their trusted lawyers in UAE
5 yrs

Five years of UAE practice through a period of major legal reform.

3 systems

Coverage across three systems: the onshore courts, the DIFC and ADGM Courts, and arbitration.

1 lawyer

One accountable lawyer on your file from start to finish.

In writing

Written scope and fees agreed before chargeable work begins.

Honest assessments, including when settlement or walking away is the better choice.

UAE professional rules restrict how lawyers may advertise, and no ethical lawyer can promise a particular result. So rather than calling ourselves the top lawyers in UAE, we would prefer you judge us on how we handle your first consultation.

Questions and Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to what clients most often ask before instructing a lawyer in the UAE.

Still have a question? Ask us directly in a confidential consultation. Book a Consultation
01

How long has TrustedLawyers.ae been practicing in the UAE?

TrustedLawyers.ae has been advising clients in the UAE since 2021, giving us five years of experience with the country’s courts, free zone courts and arbitration.

02

Are your lawyers licensed in the UAE?

Yes. Our advocates and legal consultants are registered with the UAE Ministry of Justice under Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2022. We will confirm the registration of the lawyer handling your matter on request.

03

Can a foreign-qualified lawyer represent me in a UAE court?

Not in the onshore courts, where representation is reserved for registered advocates. Foreign-qualified legal consultants can advise you, and the DIFC and ADGM Courts keep their own registers of practitioners who may appear before them.

04

Do I need to speak Arabic to bring a case in the UAE?

No. Onshore proceedings are conducted in Arabic, but we handle the Arabic filings and arrange certified translation of your documents. The DIFC and ADGM Courts operate in English.

05

Is what I tell you kept confidential?

Yes. UAE law and the Code of Ethics for the legal profession prohibit lawyers from disclosing client information, apart from the limited exceptions the law itself sets out.

06

Why do you ask for my Emirates ID or passport?

We must check for conflicts of interest and, for certain types of work, complete client due diligence under the UAE’s anti-money laundering laws before we can act.

07

How are legal fees agreed?

Fees are set out in a written engagement letter before chargeable work begins. It explains the scope of the work, how fees are calculated and what other costs, such as court fees or translation, may arise.

08

What if my contract contains an arbitration clause?

The dispute will usually need to go to arbitration rather than court, and the courts will generally decline to hear it if the other party relies on the clause in time. Get advice before filing anything.

09

Can you help me if I live outside the UAE?

Yes. We regularly act for overseas clients through remote consultations. Documents issued abroad may need to be attested or legalized before UAE courts will accept them, and we will explain what is required.
